Tim Bray Productions Auckland's leading theatre for children presents: The Little Yellow DIgger by Betty and Alan Gilderdale adapted by Tim Bray Based on the children’s picture book The little yellow digger by by Betty and Alan Gilderdale, When little yellow digger gets stuck in the mud, a range of bigger diggers are sent to finish the job. Now available with drama, literature and art activities, Q & A with Tim Bray and cast, and a backstage tour. - Public also welcome at these Term Time shows - Shows 10.30am & 1pm SCHOOL HOLIDAYS: 27 September – 11 October - Early bird discount days – Sat 27 Sept (not gala), Mon 29 Sept, Tue 30 Sept – tickets just $19.50 each - Shows 10.30am & 2pm Costume Parades (school holiday season only): Encourage your children to dress up as their favourite character from The Owl and The Pussy-Cat for the onstage Costume Parade at the start of each performance. Theatre Workshops: We now offer fun and hands-on workshops for children at the theatre which are anchored around the performance. Half-day and full-day workshops available during school holidays. Example of activities include literature workshops, drama activities, backstage tours, Q & A’s with cast and director. Gala Opening Performance: Saturday 27 Sept 5pm – Small post-show function with drinks and nibbles provided, giveaways for children, as well as lucky prize draws. A chance to meet the cast (out of costume/character) and crew after the show. NB: All children require a ticket as part of the PumpHouse Theatre ticketing policy. Only babes in arms can be granted free entry. Carparking: There is a free car park next to the PumpHouse Theatre which is accessed down the driveway off Manurere Ave. If this is full, there is another free car park accessed via a driveway into Killarney Park opposite Takapuna Primary School and Auburn Street with an easy walk down the footpath to The PumpHouse Theatre.
