Lone Star's always provided meals as delicious as they are gigantic. It's been a few years since I last went so I was slightly disappointed to find the meal sizes have shrunk while the prices have gone up. Still, despite this minor issue, the food remains fantastic - I recommend the Johnny Cash Stash and the garlic loaf!!!
Although we love to try new restaurants on the special occasions we eat out, Lone Star is always our backup option as you can gaurantee you will leave satisfied. Every time we have experienced eating here has been a pleasure from the friendly staff to the amazing food and large portions :) They deserve nothing less than 5 stars!
took my two teenage boys to lone star in dunedin over the school holidays - it's about the only place we can go in dunedin that the boys dont leave hungry and yet it doesnt cost the earth. always go for the lamb shanks as they are so tender. staff at lone star were very welcoming too.
