Alibi

Located right in the centure of Dunedin's Octogan, Alibi Bar and Restaurant is owned by three friends whose aim in life is to serve local Dunedinites outstanding meals and a great selection of drinks, in an atmosphere that makes them feel like they're hanging out with an old friend.

And you'll certainly make loads of friends at Alibi. Get your mates together and pour over the substantial menus filled with creations made with local produce, choose your favourite drop to accompany your meal from the substantial drinks menu, and sit back and relax in the company of your favourite people. And if you happen to wander in off the street all on your lonesome, it won't be long before you'll be getting on like a house on fire with a whole table of strangers.

And Alibi has loads of things happening during the week too. Join in on some salsa dancing every Thursday from 9pm - and if you're really not that way inclined, just have a drink and enjoy the music. Hang out at Alibi on Fridays and enjoy outstanding accoustic sets from local Dunedin talent from 10pm, and on Saturday nights Alibi will be pumping until the early hours of the morning with DJs playing from 11pm.
